I have been having a very difficult time the last few days. Emotionally I am not dealing with things good. Mainly when it comes to my kids. They are so full of energy and I have none. I am feeling better physically, but still can not do a whole lot. When the kids acted up, I would just get something to eat. Now I can't do that, I actually have to deal with it. I miss my old friend. I read this on someones blog and I thought, this is exactly how I feel. Go here to read it.

Different situations, same emotions. But as I got on the scale this morning, it did feel good when I saw that I was down 22.2 pounds. I just have to think that it will get better with time, as I lose more I will gain more energy.

I just need to look at the positives with my kids and my life. To look at my blessings. I will go for now. I need to do something with my kids to let them play. Thanks for listening.

It is so hard this battle with food. We need it for nurishment, but the bulk of it is meant to satisfy a hunger that cannot be fed.

Hang in there, I get you!

Remember you are recovering from major surgery too.
Hang in there!

Thank you both. I am feeling better tonight. Joe took off work to spend time with the kids, so that helped a lot.

Kris you are doing so great! 22.2 pounds is amazing! I am excited for you! Remember that everyone has hard days! Have you put up signs in your house to encourgew yourself? Like I am doing great. I have made great progress! At my weight watchers meeting last week that was a suggestion I think is worth trying! Love you!

Hey Sweetheart, You're doing a big thing here...climbing mountains many of us cannot understand. I just want you to remember that there are a lot of us who love you and are here to listen and offer encouragement at any minute of the day or night.

Good for you! I can only imagine how hard this process is, and I only have one spirited child (so far the baby is pretty mild). I have the same battle with food, it is so hard to say no to it, I'm having a hard time postpartum staying away from it, it's there and I'm sitting around at home! I swear it talks to me until I give in. You are doing a great job, know there are many of us out there who understand and are sending you lots of prayers and support.

When ever my kid are acting up and I'm done we often go in a bedroom and shut the door and read books or I read a longer chapter book out loud to everyone. That often works. I'm so proud of how well you are doing!
